From a lie to a truth
So I finally declared my European Studies major after about a year of me telling people that I was one. So I am now a European Studies and French major. I am amazed at how easy it is to declare a major, just walk from one department to the next with the papers they handed you at the first. So Good! Lately I've been in study mode I have at least read 300 pages the past week. I need to write a paper today too, but I still need to finish the reading for it. Man, why do I have to be a liberal arts major and read so much? Alas, it is a means to end of something I love. Je l'aime! I haven't really been my procrastinating self. It's been good. School is very involved but is surprising less difficult as I imagine it to be. Anyways, back to reading Global Capitalism.

La Premiere Entry
So this is the first in hopefully a long line of journal entries. I'm planning to write entries in both english and french. So some entries you won't understand unless you speak french and none of my friends right now do. But in the future I would like to have francophone friends. I have the desire to make a lot of posts but my lack of disipline gets in the way just to warn you. This journal will also just my life status reports as well. So here is the status of things:
- I just dropped my writing link class. So for composition classes for me, the third time is not lucky. So I will need to take an english class next quarter. It sucks.
- I got my test back in french and did not do well. I think doing so well in high school, not needing to study, really wrecked me.
- Ryan and I are planning on being flatmates this summer in Ireland. I just plan to get a waitressing/barista job there.
- I found out a couple days ago that my best friend is pregnant. She is due in August. I am so excited for her. I wish she was with a better guy though. I really want to see her but we haven't been able to find the time. I'm a little sad that I won't be with her when she gives birth since I will be in Ireland.
- So many people having birthdays. I really wish I was 21. I want a fake ID.
